St. Matthews Episcopal Church, Las Vegas was established as a Mission in 1962 and in 1964 became St. Matthews. We have three priests, the Reverend Christie Leavitt, the Reverend Lionel Starkes and the Reverend Jeffrey Addeigo. We also have our deacon, the Reverend Carolyn Shannon.

We are a total ministry church and have a vestry of ten members who govern and include a Warden, Associate Warden, Treasurer and Administrator. We have two services each week, Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. with Sunday School for children and Adults on Sunday at 9 a.m. We have quiet hour on Thursday at 7 p.m.

We minister to approximately 90 parishioners and have a fabulous music director and program. We participate in Outreach program at Christ Church and minister at Hospice.

Our mission is to serve Christ in our worship,m evangelism and to support one another and worship Christ in our service to the community and the world.
