Facilitator
Rev. Dave Mussatti (St. Patrick's, Incline Village) punctuated the proceedings
with humorous stories. On a more serious note, he gave a brief update on Galilee
and asked that applications for a camp director and counselors for Galilee summer
sessions be submitted post haste.
The
Rev. Jim Edwards, (Trinity) gave an erudite presentation on biblical passages
alledgedly related to homosexuality,entitled Sodom, Scripture and Sacrament
using overhead projection.
Bishop Katharine clarified that only if a parish chose to bless same-sex unions, must it develop a policy on that, but such a policy is otherwise not required.
