Comments by Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori:

All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi - we attended two worship services on Sunday 2 March - the early, youth service, and the formal morning service. I preached at both, and at evensong the following Sunday. Each service has its own choir. Eucharist is the exception here, rather than the rule, and anyone who grew up with Morning Prayer in the American church would have felt right at home. The worship at the contemporary service was lively, with hymns, praise songs, special choir offerings and solos. Each of the morning services filled the cathedral with more than 1000 people. Evensong was more lightly attended, with perhaps 100 worshippers.
