One
frequently asked question is: How is the LifeCycles curriculum of
study similar to and different from EFM? Both are excellent programs; They
can be used to complement one another, as you can see in
this comparison.
STUDY............................
Through study, prayer and reflection, EFM groups move toward a new
understanding of the fullness of God's kingdom. With the
help of resource guides, participants are given weekly
assignments for study. Each person sets his own learning
goals. There is ample opportunity to share insights and
discoveries at weekly seminars. |
REFLECTION....................................
Participants learn to think theologically,
by developing skills in theological reflection. We learn
what it means to be effective "ministers"
in the world by examining our own beliefs and their relationship
to our CULTURE, and the TRADITION of the Christian faith. We discover
how our ministry is at hand wherever we turn. |
WORSHIP.........................................
The weekly seminar is supported by a life of prayer and regular worship.
We develop worship patterns together. Liturgical materials
are furnished with the course material. |
