Every 2 years, in conjunction with the meeting of the Nevada Legislature, RAIN holds a one day Legislative Forum—Topics of discussion include: Revenue and social programs; Affordable housing; Prisoner re-entry programs; and Affordable and accessible health care. Those who wish conclude the day with visits to legislators in their offices at theState Capitol in Carson City.

RAIN. provides a forum for cooperative effort among communities of faith in Nevada seeking to address and advocate for social justice issues at the state legislature and in the public arena. Members include: Episcopal Diocese of Nevada; Lutheran Advocacy Ministry in Nevada; Roman Catholic Dioceses of Las Vegas and Reno; Presbyterian Church (USA) (Nevada Presbytery); and United Methodist Church (California-Nevada and Desert Southwest Conferences.)
