KAIROS MINISTRY to NEVADA PRISONS

Kairos is a ministry to incarcerated men and women in 3 of the Northern Nevada prisons. It is an offshoot of Cursillo or Dias Con Cristo, an ecumenical movement involving lay people and those in ministry built around renewal weekends. The experience of Kairos is also similar to Walk to Emmaus and Tres Dias . A number of Leaders in the Episcopal Church in Nevada have been involved in Kairos since the 1970's.
