Ecumenical Advocacy Days
for Global Peace with Justice

The Second annual ecumenical gathering in Washington, D.C. concerning urgent global peace issues was held March 5 - 8, 2004. Organized by the World Council of Churches, representatives of the American Epoiscopal Church gathered to discuss the latest events and political solutions to the crisis in the region, preparing for advocacy on Israel and Palestine and on the situation in Iraq. Our Church is particularly concerned because the Diocese of Palestine is a part of The Episcopal Church in America.

Speakers included government sources, former ambassadors to the region, other diplomats, church leadrs and Middle East analysts.
